7/6/26 - Went out to drink with my colleagues today, to commemorate me joining this new work place. This place is packed during weekends. Nice bouncers but the staff aren’t that great. 1 was nice but some were passive aggressive. We tried to say to this lady, she can come back to get the glasses as there were too many, my colleague was handing her one but she snatched it and slammed it on the table and then picked it up again. I understand she wants to do it her own her but the way she did it, not a nice way. I’ve worked as a team leader at a pub before and that certainly is not the way to treat customers. Another lady told us we ordered too many shots “65” to be exact or something. She was right and we had to slow down, I don’t blame her to be honest for giving us a little warning. Though we weren’t loud or drunk, we shared these with another table as well so all the 65 shots were shared between 8-9 people. I was not mad at her at all, it was the other lady with black hair whose attitude was not nice at all in my opinion. Ruined the atmosphere for a bit but hey ho, it’s Wetherspoons.

One of the best Wetherspoons we’ve visited! The service here is excellent! The staff are fast, friendly, and really on top of things. You can tell the management is doing a great job because the whole place feels clean, tidy, and well-run. My wife and I love visiting Wetherspoon pubs wherever we go, and this one in Aldershot is definitely one of the best. Great atmosphere and great service. Highly recommended! Thanks to the Staff and Management

This was a comfort break for me as I was travelling by train with interruptions in bad weather so booked a last minute room. The booking and checking in process was quick, convenient, seamless and offered great value. I was greeted by friendly staff and was pleasantly surprised how comfortable and quiet it was in the room. With plenty of refreshments, a hot bath, thick curtains and comfy bed, I slept like a baby and would definitely stay again. Ten minutes from the train station too, so a great location for business travel.

Recently went out with family to aldershot Wetherspoons, and took my sister and her emotional support dog for a nice lunch out with our nanny and had extremely rude staff including the female manager who rudely told me I can’t come in with the dog after repeatedly showing and telling her this is a survive dog for mental health, this brought a lot of anxiety and distress on my sister who is 16 years old and can not leave her dog out of sight, the manager came over to our table and grabbed my dogs neck trying to look for the tag I had already shown her and other staff members! We was refused food and any sort of service until the dog left the premises what we was unable to do as her mental health would deeply distorted. This incident occurred on Sunday the 3rd around 4:30. I’m I'm very upset with this as I do also believe it was also discriminatory towards our appearance and culture. All I wanted was a nice day out with my nanny for her birthday but it turned into us getting harassed and discriminated all because my sister needed a service dog ( emotional support animal) she has severe mental health which has caused her not wanted to go out again this incident needs to be resolved and for their ‘policy’ to change Thanks for nothing, Ben
