My Husband and I had our wedding reception at this pub. Our experience was wonderful. They sorted the food, tables, table covers, bows for the back of the chairs etc. It looked amazing. The food was what we requested, and was very tasty. They even sorted out our last-minute theme decoration drop-off and checked the play area, as we had many little children with us. I would 100% recommend this pub.
Had the pleasure of hosting the party for our daughters christening here, would just like to say how amazing the service and venue was from start to finish. Michelle and Jason took care of anything including helping decorating the venue and preparing a lovely spread of food. They both were flexible and very accommodating of any requests we had. We will definitely be using The Old Ford again for any functions that we will be having in the future. A big thank you for helping the day go so smoothly.
We hired the hall for a 21st birthday which turned into a surprise engagement!. Excellent staff, very accommodating. Very good for around 40 people also if needed can sit in the pub area as well for older people to have a rest from the party music. Access to outside garden area as well and easy transport in the area if visitors want to drink alcohol. Very good price, but speak with the landlady as can vary dependent on how many people.
Such a lovely place to spend a sunny Saturday held my sons first bday here was a hit. Margaret the landlady was amazing so accommodating the venue itself is a fair size pub with a function room in the back and good garden for kids. Good prices wonderful atmosphere and lots of parking.
Love this pub! The recent change in management has really made such an impact. The landlady, Kate, is tremendous! Customer service is excellent and the atmosphere warm and friendly. The live music and event nights are always perfectly suited to the venue and us customers. I don't live local to this pub, but I travel across town to be here as it is such an excellent place!
