So it was my First time in Walsall town centre and I was in town to watch the football ⚽️ as my beloved Oldham Athletic were playing Walsall FC at the Bescot Stadium 🏟. Read the great reviews and thought I would head in for a pint of lager and I had a look at the menu and decided to order some food, I opted for the Fish and Chip platter which came with Fish, Chips, Mushy peas, Curry sauce, battered sausage, bread and butter and a side order of onion rings. Food was well presented, generous portion size, food was hot, tasted delicious and definitely hit the spot, I cleaned my plate and enjoyed my pint before enjoying another pint and then headed to the match. Food, service, pint, atmosphere, value were all 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 40,000,000+ views on Google alone. Perfect for Euros and more. Food great. Staff including Harry, Jordan, Dan and Carl amazing. Always feel welcome anytime. Service brilliant and informed staff and staff not afraid to check with managers/shift leaders if unsure (rare to see staff confident in the support of management. Brilliant). Clean. Well maintained. Euro logo on facebook fantastic. Social media good. Sound and lights good. DJ Daimo fun and approachable. Going to be here more. Thank you all for being amazing. A credit to the industry.
Do not go here for food! We had a three plate "small dish" order which was atrocious. The "Hunters Chicken" fries was covered in ketchup and had questionable chicken. The loaded nachos with kebab meat had HUGELY questionable meat (even more so than regular doner meat) that looked like cardboard. The rest of the bar seems fine, gave off a boozy, footballing, male dominated vibe and the drinks were reasonably priced, but don't get them on the app because it took half hour for them to come out.
Being from London it's nice to find a friendly pub where you can talk to anyone... barstaff are great helpful and friendly 👍 👌
Excellent pub in the town centre with a fantastic choice of drinks at super cheap prices. Food looked delicious too .well worth a visit....and the staff are friendly
