One of the last true pubs on the Wirral peninsula. No food hence the 1 star. The pub offers live sports, live music every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Friday and Saturday open until 1am, every other day midnight.

Lovely ambient, polite and accomodating waitress and nice guests. Music takes me back to the good days od speakeasys and classic pubs, where you could sit down and have a drink with your mates, after a long day at the factory. The new management is doing their job perfectly.

Great Boozer, rather than a bar. Good prices, draught beers/lagers that taste fresh and well gassed. Good crowd, everyone seemed to have both manners and respect. Great service by the bar staff. Recommended.
