So it was my First time drinking in The Prenton Pub as I was in town to watch my Beloved football team Oldham Athletic take on Tranmere at Prenton Park in Sky Bet League 2 so i popped in for a quick pre-match drink. When i arrived the bar/pub was very quiet but it wasn't long before Oldham and Tranmere fans arrived, Fantastic pub, Super friendly staff, Great pints of ABK(Bavarian Lager), Live football ⚽️ on the TVs, Cracking atmosphere, polite and friendly locals, You can pay by cash or card. 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ 5☆ I post alot of reviews on Google and I always give my honest opinion on everything from food, cleanliness, drink, Service, value for money, setting, ambience etc and I have over 46,000,000+ views on Google alone. Clean. Comfortable Good grub Service on the slow side. Staff pleasant. Would return again.
Decent ground for the level. Excellent view from behind the goal in the kop. Pitch was immaculate. Lack of boozers and food vendors in general vicinity.
Went here for one drink after work and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was so great and all of the customers where very friendly. Needless to say, my drink after work on a Friday lasted until Saturday afternoon. The happy vibes and entertainment sure made me feel young again. What an amazing night.
After getting to the football ground only to realise the game had been called off we desperately needed somewhere close to have a drink and, more importantly, use the toilet. This pub is right next door. It looks decent enough and the staff & clientele were pretty friendly. Nothing wrong with the drinks. Don't know what it's like the rest of the time but on a football-less Saturday afternoon in winter it was alright.
