Decent greene king lovely beer garden which is in the sun. Food was lovely especially Signature burger. Cranbury juice was so watered down. Guy at bar forgot our drinks after half an hour had to go in to remind him lol.
Went in on a Friday lunchtime for somewhere to get a quick drink a do a bit of work. Found plenty of seating and a table large enough to work on. Decent selection of beers, helpful staff. Decided to order light lunch fish and chips, that was very lightly battered. Would definitely go back as it’s fairly quiet atmosphere ….. No kids permitted! It’s a green king pub so you can order on the app
Went for lunch on Tuesday afternoon, the place was extremely busy, there was not enough staff on for the amount of people visiting, but they worked tirelessly to ensure everyone was happy. The food was delicious, hot and well presented, I had the gammon, chose to have 2 eggs and my partner had steak and ale pie with mushy peas, we both had a glass of house wine and when we went to pay what a fantastic surprise the whole bill only came to £20, no wonder the place was full. A lovely pub with lovely staff, very attentive under pressure we will definitely return.
We came for tea last night luckily we managed to get a table with it being so close to Christmas. Feeling a little peckish we opted for the beef and bacon burger with an extra patty which came out piping hot and very well presented we then ordered pudding which consisted of sticky toffee pudding with custard and apple and blackberry crumble with custard which has to be the best pub pud I've ever had staff are very pleasant and friendly especially the girl with blonde hair and the red dress who seemed rushed off her feet the pub does have a strictly over 18's policy so no children are allowed
Great visit in absolutely awful weather!! We were not intending to stop anywhere for lunch, but due to horrendous wind we decided to stop at this pub for a bite to eat and wait to see if the weather past. What a gem!! Food was outstanding, service impeccable and the warmth throughout the place was so inviting we didn’t really want to leave. If anyone is passing through Prenton stop off at this pub for a drink and bite to eat, you will not be disappointed!!
