The Wyvern Tavern is a popular matchday venue in Swindon, centrally located with multiple TVs showing live sports, including football. It is known for its lively atmosphere, especially on weekends, and is a common spot for both home and away fans to gather before and after matches. The pub offers a variety of food options and a selection of real ales, contributing to its appeal among football supporters.
Authentic Goan food very tasty and delicious mouth watering. Atmosphere is lighting, friendly voices, and that genuine “you’re welcome here” The staff don’t just serve you, they see you. Whether it’s remembering your drink, checking in without hovering, or offering a quick joke that brightens your mood, you feel like you matter. And that feeling is rare. The food and drinks are consistently spot-on, but what people secretly come back for is the way the place makes them feel: relaxed, valued, and connected. Even if you arrive alone, you never truly feel alone—there’s always a friendly nod, a smile, or a conversation waiting if you want it. The pub has this special mix of comfort and life. It’s lively without being overwhelming, cozy without being dull. You can unwind after a long day, celebrate good news, or just escape for a moment. Somehow, the space adapts to your mood perfectly. In a world where most places feel rushed and impersonal, this pub stands out because it feels real. Human. Warm. Like a place you could call your local from the very first visit. If you go once, you’ll understand—and you’ll probably find yourself returning without even thinking about it.
Ordered drinks and food. The staff were very pleasant and professional. The food was brilliant. Freshly made and very tasty. Would definitely recommend
Great pub to watch sports. There was multiple screens to choose from and got to watch two games at the same time. Usual selection of drinks at competitive prices for the area. The aroma from the food was very appealing and will definitely have to try the next visit.
