Amazing food! Lovely staff and service. We had the best mixed grill cooked to perfection, our hunters chicken was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone on the Shrewsbury area. Can’t wait to try the Thursday tapas xx
Just returned from a weekend stay at the old bell and happy to say it a very pleasant stay...room clean & everythg we needed ..staff very friendly & welcoming & compliments to the chef the food was amazing.. home cooked & deliscious...
Went here for a quick lunch with my grandfather just before Christmas day whilst we were in the area and both of us ended up with food poisoning. Hospitalising my grandfather! Terrible hygiene practices behind the scenes! Be careful when choosing to eat here. Also overpriced.
Lovely room in a lovely pub. Comfortable bed and looked nice and clean. Very friendly young barmaid who helped with everything. Very loud, can hear everything outside the bedroom and upstairs- hair on shower head. Could also do with having a chain or some type of second indoor lock for the door as some security as it was a little concerning as a solo female when the door can easily be opened if there was a second key. No parking but managed to park on the cobbles thankfully! Would be back if I visited Shrewsbury again! Good value for money!
