As a party of 4 on a weekend getaway we opted for the Coleham Tap. Really friendly service from bar to servers a credit to the establishment. Food was excellent, really tasty options, seabass, burgers, steak and traditional fish and chips. Give it a try you won't be disappointed.

The perfect place for a sunset vino with friends. The beer garden overlooks the river. Sorry didn't try the food. I hope the problems that they are having with their app are resolved soon.

Sensational, service was on point. Was asked if everything was okay a few times plus if we needed drinks. No rush from service, and yet we didn't have to wait for food for long. Food was excellent, best Lamb Shank and Whitby Scampi, starters were amazing and was enough to bridge us over to the main course. A good selection of desserts, and very good selection for the menu in general.

We saw this pub recently at the end of our long, rainy afternoon hike. The pub was like an oasis from the cold -- it was warm, bright and cheerful, made all the more pleasant by its relaxed vibe (even though it's busy), lovely and thoughtful staff, and friendly customers. We ordered their mulled wine and it was one of the best ones I've tried recently. It was so good that we bought another round. The guy manning the mulled wine preparations told us on our second order that it wouldn't be ready for another 20 minutes. But we made up our minds that we wanted another round so he said he'd let us know. When it was finally ready, he very thoughtfully got our attention and signalled our mugs were ready to be collected. Really appreciated that. Thank you! Oh by the way, it's pet friendly too!
