📍 1.2 miles from Meadow Lane
City-centre location on Wollaton Street makes it an easy pre- or post-match meetup, with Royal Centre tram stop (~100m) and bus routes nearby. The pub actively shows major football tournaments and fixtures (e.g., Women’s Euros and other live sport), so you can watch build-up or early kick-offs. Late opening on Fridays and Saturdays (to 1–2am) also suits post-match drinks. Facilities include a pool table for passing time before heading to the ground.
Love this pub. Plays proper decent music. Good beers. Friendly staff.
I bloody love the Tap! My band are booked to play here around once a year and it’s always a highlight on the calendar. People always come out to see live bands here and you can always expect a decent audience of people just wanting to have a good time. The staff are great and friendly and good booze to go with it. We need more places like the tap around the UK!!
Awesome staff, great vibes, fantastic music and such a wonderful venue! Didn't order anything complicated but the drinks were perfect regardless. The place itself isn't super loud, there's music going but you can definitely chat easily
Metal bar in Nottingham, really close from the tram station, and the Theatre Royal. It has a great atmosphere, good music, plenty of places to sit, or just standing and enjoying the music. Friendly customers, friendly and nice staff.
Tap is a rock pub. Great selection of beers. You are made to feel welcome. Good spot to have a few pre gig drinks if you are off to rock city or the rescue rooms.
