I would highly recommend having a private function here! Had my bay shower & it was amazing! Everything went so well. From initial booking through emails, having queries to viewing the room. To confirmation & the event itself was amazing! Staff & atmosphere was wonderful. Staff were on hand all the time & helped us clear up & take things to the car at the emd of the event too! That is service! We had our own waitress who was very friendly & helpful. She was on hand throughout with drinks orders. They made me feel very comfortable & had a no pressure approach to the customer service to what I would like & even what they require was a relaxing approach which is what I need when heavily pregnant. So again highly highly recommend! & the function room itself is so lovely!
Came here for Christmas Day for 5 course dinner. Food was delicious however the table we sat at was near door that was constantly being opened and it was quite cold where we were seated. We had asked to be moved but staff wasn’t able to accommodate. There was also no Christmas music.
The place is generally very atmospheric, old and cousy style combined with modern. The food was briliant, extremely tasteful and good amount of everything and just enough. You can tell they stand out from other local restaurants with the quality. Service was excellent, very attentive and just when needed. Christmas dinner slightly over priced. If you see ratings under 4 stars I am sure is for a balant reason and persons named Karen. This place done great in many aspects. Well done to the team 👏🏻
Dropped by this pub recently and really enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed — a great place to unwind. The service was friendly and attentive, and everything was well organized. The food was tasty overall, though a bit too creamy for my personal taste, which made it feel a little heavy after a while. Still, it was a pleasant visit, and I’d be happy to come back and try something else next time
Had an early dinner, the staff were all very nice and polite. Food was served pretty quick. We had the trio Sunday roast which was nice and crayfish starter. I managed to find a parking space and we weren't rushed or anything. Overall nice atmosphere, quite cosy. The food was good too, my brother said we'll come again 😊
