I was looking for a traditional pub to have a pint and watch some football but the place was more a rock bar, playing really loud rock music (it was good music but tough to watch a football match this way), but I’m guessing this was more because it was a Friday evening and isn’t typical. It is also a much older crowd which is what confused me about the loud rock music. They do have Caffreys!!

One of the few remaining pubs in the town centre with a landlady that knows her stuff! Always a friendly welcome, cracking beers, live music where possible and just good old fashioned service. Łloyds has outlasted most local pubs and will continue to do so!
