£6.69 for a large breakfast of this quality is borderline criminal. They could easily stick another three quid on the bill and the place would still be heaving. It looks fantastic, tastes even better, and completely embarrasses most so called proper cafés charging twice the price. Wetherspoons do not mess about with cheap rubbery catering rubbish. The Lincolnshire sausages are top drawer, the bacon is proper quality, and the eggs were cooked bang on. No grease swamp, no sloppy mess, just a solid well cooked breakfast done right. A member of staff came over to check everything was okay, which says a lot when the place is this busy. The staff are sharp, efficient, and completely on top of their game. No wandering about and no excuses. It’s 10am on a Sunday and the place is already nearly full. Leave it too late and that’s on you, because this is hands down the best breakfast in town.

Excellent place for a Wetherspoons pub and I experienced something that's been rare for me, i was actually served a decent pint of real ale possibly for the first time ever in a spoons pub. It proves that you can actually get a decent beer from this franchise, so if the Jolly Tars can do it why can't all the others! The look and feel of the var is quite cosy and a pleasant surprise. It's far enough away from the main Blackpool tourist area to not attract the wrong types and the clientele was mature making a good ambience. The food menu was the same as all the other spoons pubs and was served promptly and was nice. If travelling by tram jump off at the Cleverley stop and it's about a 5 minute walk away.
I had a great visit to the Jolly Tars pub. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a real local charm. Jade provided outstanding service, friendly attending and professional thoughout, she made sure everything was perfect and really enhanced our time! Will be returning soon!
We came for coffee and a pint. This is a lovely Wetherspoon’s branch, the service staff is welcoming and friendly and she is so positive & all smiles which is great! The decorations are beautiful and have s⁷uch a cosy atmosphere Would visit again!! We arrived back for breakfast today, and it's highly recommend 👌
