first time going and stayed over night in the camper van in their car park. had roo book early though, bit that cause the food is 1st class n plenty on your plates prices are very reasonable too. staff where very friendly helpful and always happy n smiling all night long hence give em a genouriuos tip. then went in to the bar and we watched the footy while have a few drinks with the locals or regulars and they even made the night so special. would I recommend ir. dam right I would and again for good measure. so ty to the staff and everyone else there for making g it a truely beautiful evening
The White Lion is the best Hotel l have stayed in the Uk on all levels! Dining experience is one not to be missed! Customer Service outstanding. Lovely interior in the Dining room, but with plenty of old world charm in The Bar. Super atmosphere here. Obviously a fav with the locals. Always a good sign.Bedrooms are tastefully done and immaculate. Looking forward to a return visit! Credit to all concerned!

70th b day meal, lovely place, chilled, lovely hosts, food lovely, reasonable prices, they deserve your customer, have been for lunch during the week and fab two course offer, chips are stunning. Thankyou to the hosts for such a lovely afternoon with close family, everyone enjoyed the food.
This is a gem of a place it’s popular so make sure you pre book your table to avoid any disappointment on the day especially if it’s a special occasion you are celebrating. Great staff as well that are happy to take care you during your visit.
