📍 0.7 miles from Mornflake Stadium
A classic town-centre alehouse that’s specifically described as popular with both home and away fans and only about a 10-minute walk from Crewe Alexandra’s Mornflake Stadium—ideal for a pre-match pint. It also offers a notably large cask selection (around ten ever-changing real ales), so groups can get varied drinks without long waits. Fan reports note seeing away supporters here too, reinforcing its neutral, welcoming matchday vibe.
Love this pub! 💛 Fab atmosphere and an amazing selection of beers on tap which regularly change. Definitely my go to place when in town! 🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺
I'm a traveller from East Anglia staying literally next door for a couple of days. What a great little pub this is. A real ale extravaganza. I love it. Incredibly friendly place and was made to feel very welcome. I hope my work means I can come and visit here more often in the future. There's a real fire downstairs and a surprising large beautiful beer garden outside. It doesn't look anything special from the outside, but most certainly is when you arrive inside. Did I mention the beer? Amazing selection and most definitely worth a look if fine ale is your thing.
One of the best traditional pubs I've tried in the UK, its cozy and warm, they have a variety of ales 🍺 very tasty 😋, haven't asked about the food even.. Recommended to be honest ❤️
This was a lovely pub for drinking, with a low hanging area feeling like a cellar particularly with the brown lining its roof! The coasters are a neat addition and comedic drinking posters make the wall a total blast, counter has a sweet, small layout itself. Seating is quite unconventional for the backs of chairs and a solid amount of tables are available for a small pub, I had a Strawberry Beer which is rare in the UK!
From the outside the pub just looks ordinary but I stepped inside and loved it, loads of hand pumps for cask ale, cosy traditional interior, mature clientele and well behaved dogs are allowed. The beer selection was brilliant and tasted perfect, the cheese salad batch was massive and freshly made and from memory it was only £2.50
