Listed by Football Ground Guide as a pub for away fans, Hops Belgian Bar offers a calmer pre-match option with an outstanding beer range. CAMRA/WhatPub note its extensive cask and bottled selection, including Belgian classics, and that it’s close to Crewe town centre—handy for moving on to the stadium. Visit Cheshire adds it’s not far from the railway station, which suits fans arriving by train. The Real EFL’s stadium guide also highlights Hops as a quieter alternative to busier matchday pubs. Together, these sources point to Hops as a relaxed, away-friendly spot with top-quality beer and convenient access to transport and the ground.
First time visit to here. Great place. I will be back. Many bottled Belgian Beers. Cask Ales. Just like being in Belgium 🇧🇪
Very nice pub about 20 minutes walk from Crewe railway station. High quality beer selection with both British cask ales and Belgium beers. Nice interior with pictures and beer signs covering the walls and a beer garden at the front of the pub with a friendly resident cat.
It’d be a great pub if you just take the cask beer into account but the amazing selection of Belgian and German beers put this pub in the top tier. Nice and friendly too.
Chic bar nestled in a quiet corner not too far from the centre of Crewe town, with some excellent pours, friendly staff and generally good crowds & ambience. Good seating area outside too for those who smoke.
Think they used to do chips and olives (and Loosa juices) but Folkington appears to be an excellent brand of juice as a replacement. As is the easily accessible bar snack point of sale. Also on the non-alcoholic front I also can throughly recommend 0% Kölsch - it knocks spots off 0% Leffe .
