Town-centre spot showing live sport on multiple screens (including specific Premier League fixtures) and advertising “Live Sports” — useful for early kick-offs and post-match games. WhatPub lists “Sports TV” and notes it’s close to Crewe Bus Station (≈300m) with Crewe railway station about 1.25km away, making it handy for travelling supporters on matchdays. Local coverage says the pub is very busy on football match days and shows multiple sports simultaneously, reinforcing its role as a neutral matchday base. Overall, it’s a practical pre/post-match option with easy transport access and continuous live football on TV.
Such a lovely place, and I love their new food menu. The staff are the loveliest people you'll meet, always welcoming and friendly. I went here for dinner with friends yesterday and got the vegan sausage and mash. The chef was very accommodating and offered to make the vegan mash. It was such good value for money, with really filling portion sizes. The prices are amazing as well!
Owner or manager, was extremely rude. We were sat down for 10 minutes deciding what we want to drink when there was barely any other customers in the pub and he shouted at us and threatened to kick us out if we didn’t buy a drink and shouted at us multiple times to hurry up, seriously don’t go here, have also seen many times people come in looking young and never being ID’d sooo?
I've been here many times before and was very satisfied with the service, but today I was quite disappointed with the security guard who had a very discriminatory and disrespectful attitude towards me. And I will never come back…
Service with a smile, no thanks 😂, shoutout to dougy 123 at least they have a goodish sound system and a good friday night.. Haven't tried their food.
Great fun pub with lively but chill experience. Staff very friendly and a great place to go for some food and booze
