The Queen Edith is a popular pub among locals and visitors alike, offering a friendly atmosphere and a selection of well-kept beers from Milton Brewery. It has been recognized in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide and was awarded Pub of the Year by the Cambridge & District branch in 2022. The pub is located near Addenbrooke's Hospital, making it a convenient spot for both home and away fans to gather before or after matches. While it doesn't explicitly advertise as an away fan pub, its reputation and location suggest it is welcoming to all football supporters.
No proper bitter (Milton?) very forgettable.. All the bitters were zesty and fruity - no thanks, and this is a CAMRA pub. Struth! My response to their reply. I joined CAMRA in 1978. It's not the organisation it used to be. Yes I do seem to prefer beers from breweries that have been doing it for more than 100 years: Fullers, Young's, Greene King, Hook Norton, Shepherd Neame - I could go on. And some younger breweries are very good, but not Milton. Looking at my tasting notes for the Tournament bitter I had in the Ale Taster in St Neots - it was very nice. It wasn't in your establishment. Are you a tied house? Why have all pumps bar one dispensing Milton beers. If I want a zesty, fruity citrusey drink I'll have a grapefruit juice!
Lovely independent pub. Friendly staff Good music Ok prices
Brilliant staff, excellent and attentive. Beautiful selection of foods. A lovely array of lagers, ales and stouts to choose from and any other drinks of your liking. I highly recommend this family pub!
Just came to Queen Edith to try the new Perhaps menu. The menu is quite interesting with loads of variety. The burger was absolutely delicious. Cannot wait to come in and try the sunday roast also. Is a must go! Keep up the good work
Very tasty truffle arancini and amazing scotch eggs. Very good value for money and I'm definitely going back again. Well done
