Booked last minute, was able to get a table but in the pub area not restaurant/dining part. A decent selection of drinks, including a house brew, at a reasonable price (£11.20 for 2 pints of lager). Food was tasty and homemade. The chilli chicken in particular was gorgeous. Basmati rice was slightly overcooked imo, but the naan was excellent. Plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Parking at the back of the pub and a lovely beer garden.
I have visited The Brook with friends multiple times - usually for a couple of drinks with some nibbles. Last night was the first time I went with family for the food. I had heard good things from others and I wasn’t disappointed. We ordered chicken chilli, chicken lollipops, some butter chicken masala and Hyderabadi dum biryani. All the items were great but the lollipop and the biryani were exceptional. The staff is great. They really make you feel comfortable and warm. They even helped us make choices for our drinks & mains. I’m looking forward to visiting The Brook again soon, to explore their weekend special menu :)
I had a fantastic meal here. Manish who was working, made the experience memorable by being friendly, attentive, and genuinely interested in our table. The food was delicious, arrived quickly, and you could tell real care went into every dish. I’d happily come back and hope Manish is working the next time I visit
Welcoming pub with wide choice of beers and exceptional food. I chose from the Indian menu, and enjoyed the best pub food I've had this year! Not too pricey either. A bonus was being able to watch the rugby International. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
A beautiful and very clean pub. Welcoming hosts and very friendly guests. We immediately felt welcome. The food is absolutely delicious. Thank you for the excellent service and recommendations from MANI. We had a wonderful morning. Our dog was also very welcome. She slept peacefully and enjoyed the break.
