Popped in for the first time in a long time on Saturday. Good selection of beers, good pub atmosphere and friendly staff. Great community pub!!
Biggest eyesore in the area. Looks so tacky right now with all the flags. Used to look nice and inviting. Not friendly or welcoming at all now.
Had an amazing Gruyère cheese soufflé, with rockete & truffle oil, roast rump of lamb, pearl barley risotto sautéed girolles. & Finished with a classic pear & almond tart with rice pudding ice cream. My favourite pub in Accrington. Cheap beer, wonderful staff, and the friendliest customers. Can’t wait to return ❤️

Fab pub that appears to be NOT dictated by the brewery.. over 300 years built. Quiet, dog friendly. Cheap! 1pt Guinness, 1pt Carling, 1/2 PT Fosters £10.05. it's not shiny, it's just old school, it even has a 1960s snug x
