Just moved to Accrington and was looking for a last minute pub grub, they have a new food menu and there was lots of variety and something for everyone’s tastes. We had the steak & ale pie which was really nice, very reasonably priced and good portion sizes. All the staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome. Great atmosphere for having a drink afterwards and they even had the football on!

Hidden little gem this. We’ve passed this pub many times and never really seen it as a place to eat, until recently. The food is an absolute bargain for the quality. The best battered garlic mushroom I’ve ever had, I’d go back just for them!! The portion size is fab, quality amazing and the staff are lovely. The food was cheap and I think is why it previously put us off, however the quality of this food beats some well known restaurants we’ve been to at fraction of the price! Highly recommend if you fancy some proper pub grub, especially the starters, we had southern friend garlic mushrooms, crispy king prawns and chicken wings ( which were huge for the price !) A new menu is pending.. can’t wait to see what they’ve got coming next. If you haven’t tried this pub, please do? You’ll be pleasantly suppressed by the quality of the food. Nice and cosy atmosphere also. Unfortunately we enjoyed the food that much, we didn’t take photos, but we will next time! Thank you The Crown for some amazing food and making our experience positive. Was really excited to try the new menu it did not disappoint, table of 10 all the food was lovely and all come out boiling hot, really recommend. Can't wait to try everything on the menu

Lovely Saturday evening with friends and family drinks and food delicious 😋. Lovely atmosphere staff very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful cosy pub and restaurant very relaxed and enjoyable. Starters and mains very reasonable priced, food arrived very hot and delicious. Highly recommend will definitely be returning soon to this cosy gem.
