Lovely cosy atmosphere, room bar was well maintained, clean and tidy, tables clean and all wiped down, food was great tasting, well presented, and very well priced. All in all a great experience. Will definitely be eating here if we ever find ourselves in High Wickham. The four stars for food and service in no way is a reflection on the staff themselves, I just feel in general that a majority of food places dont offer enough variation to vegans. It always seems to be a limited choice between some sort of burger and chips, a salad or a curry. The burger I and my partner had was one of the best we've had, but with so many good meat substitutes put there now, more of an actual meal selection should be available to us. The four stars for service was purely because our empty plates remained on our table until I put them on a neighbouring table away from us. The staff were obviously busy taking down decorations so were otherwise occupied so its not a real issue. I have no doubt under normal circumstances they are on the ball. I would definitely recommend you eat here, great place.

It was such a great discovery to my husband and me to find this place in town. We spent a lovely night and enjoyed its warm and cosy atmosphere. The food was awesome, tasty, and 😋 deliciously well cooked. The ciders exquisite 👌.

Surprisingly really good meal! For a chain we didn't expect much, however the food tasted good and came with a good price. Compared to other food places in the area this one is worth going to. We visited BlueGrass (nextdoor to it) last week and we're disappointed, so to find that O'Neill's do similar food much better was a nice surprise. I opted for the Halloumi burger with sweet potato fries which went down well, whilst in the party we also ordered the wings, beer battered mushrooms (which were really nice) and fiery fries. All tasted good and no real complaints.

Food was decent and staff are friendly but don't get a salad from here it was abysmal. Also beer like Budweiser is waaaay overpriced. Came back and tried them out again and ordered something different, experience was way worse, paid £10 for a garbage chicken burger with a singular leaf of lettuce, it's made me reconsider my 3 star review and made me drop it down to 1 stars, I'm not expecting gourmet Gordon Ramsey type food but when i pay £10 I expect at least £8 worth of food, i get they need to make a profit but I'm not ever coming back after paying £10 for food i can get over at Mcdonalds for £1 ridiculous. (Also stop putting that sorry excuse for "slaw" on our plates)
