Not the great rock bar it once was, seems to get full of scallys wandering in on a Saturday night, rock karaoke has descended into the same group of people singing the same depressing pop songs occasionally they still have bands on and if the duke box or DJ is on that can make for a good night and there is a good selection of drinks, don’t stand still too long or you will get stuck to the floor also they never have the back room open anymore unless there’s a band on so seating is limited and dance floor is very small! The back toilets are nicer but never open and there’s always a queue in the main ones

Visited in December 2025 to watch a Joy Division Tribute. The rear section has a stage area at the back right. Bit of a strange layout and can't accommodate many but it does create a great vibe and allow for the crowd and band to get close! good sound. Arrive early and make sure you get a good spot!

Performed here alongside my band, had an overall great experience other than the service, felt a little bit rushed and bossed about. The sound and kit is amazing, would definitely love to perform here again. Nice area for us to chill, aswell as places to leave our mark!

Always enjoyed this alternative/rock venue, it’s a rough and ready dive bar with good beer and open late. Went last night and it’s plastic cups and generic UK beer, no imported Lowenbrau or Veltins that used to be on. To top it off I got asked to leave mid pint due to wearing shorts! Boulevard is the last place in town I’d have expected to have a dress code especially with some of the weird and wonderful attire I’ve witnessed in there lol.

First time here to watch a tribute band. Good sound, decently priced drinks, cool little venue.
