I’m on the road constantly for B2B travel, and this was genuinely one of the best solo nights out I’ve had in ages. I managed to knock out emails from the day’s visits while enjoying proper live music and a buzzing atmosphere, that combo is rare. No disrespect to The Crow Pub, but if you’re choosing between the two… don’t overthink it. I went there at 10am and I was literally the only person in there doing emails. The Berkeley was the complete opposite: full pub, live music, great vibe, and still a quiet corner where I could get work done. Best of both worlds. Massive shoutout to Autumn and the lovely lady behind the till (I’m sorry I forgot your name!). Zero disrespect, you were both brilliant. And honestly… you lot up north crack me up, you talk so funny 😂 By the time I’d finished at the underground club I’d completely forgotten to write down names, but Autumn will know exactly who I mean because I spoke to you both tonight. God bless you both! 🙏

The Berkeley is hands down one of the best pubs around. Roy and Denise run it brilliantly and genuinely make time for everyone who walks through the door – you’re never just another face in the crowd. The staff are fantastic, always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is second to none. Great selection of drinks and the entertainment is always spot on, with something different week to week which keeps things fresh and exciting. A proper pub with a proper community feel – highly recommend!

Spent a Saturday afternoon in here fir the football and 6N rugby. Lovely atmosphere and plenty of screens to watch the sport. Beer is good, plenty of options. Lovely variety staff, very jovial and interactive. Well done. We had a great day!

I went into The Berkeley with 10 friends and one very well behaved small dog. Having checked online that it was a dog friendly pub. We had been in there over an hour when I was told by the manageress to leave as they don't allow dogs in their pub. I told her that it said dogs where allowed on their website, to be told leave, not finish your drinks and leave, just leave. I question her management skills 🤔 rude! I will never step foot in there ever again.

Worst friction. On the 4th October 2025 I was knocked unconscious in the the gents toilets. From a homophobic couple that they still serve. Tried the blank card and adminstration first aid with bog roll (the manager) the camera pointer. Trying stage things up. This place needs shutting down. Doesn't not promote drink just violence. And there is no food there. Just revolution
