Absolutely brilliant staff. Came in on my own after recently moving to wigan and they couldn't have made me feel more welcome. Sound set of locals and sound set of beers on the line. Decent prices, decent venue, can't complain.

Worth seeking out - choice of 3 cask beers and a couple of ciders - Windermere Pale is a mainstay and it’s always in excellent condition although the pump clip could do with updating! More room upstairs along with the toilets.

Used to be decent, it always feels weird in there now. Staff are just odd, the old fella seems to be in a constant mood and a younger lad seemed to be high when working. Cold in the area at the back.

Had a couple of pints and a pork pie after work on a Friday, top quality and fantastic value, I'll definitely be back. The staff and regulars are friendly making you feel right at home, terrific selection of beers on offer, sad I didn't have enough time to sample more. Excellent choice of music, any place that plays Werewolves of London will always get a thumbs up from me πŸ‘ Many thanks to all, keep up the good work!
