The best most historic pub in Wigan. Amazing choice and quality of beers. Superb staff and landlady. Plus the best Jukebox "In the world" if you love Rock n Roll! Its not just a pub its a legend. Love it

Didn't eat here but went for a quick drink, ended up a few drinks. Definitely not a place to chat, music is primary vocation supported by a good selection of beers, wines and spirits. Loved the upstairs area but I think it may have been because I was closer to the speakers, as if that was really necessary!! Highly recommend a visit but dont think you'll be in long if a good chinwag is your motive when you're out... only took a few photos, there are a few on their website.

Lovely old pub. Visited with a group of guys from the Wirral, after a gap of about 9 years. It was fondly remembered by all as a great pub and we were all made up to see that continues. Lovely selection of ales at decent prices. Friendly bar staff and a nice atmosphere...
