Having visited the Hinds Head a few times for a Sunday dinner & enjoyed it, my partner & I decided to try the sweet chilli chicken sizzler, it was not for the faint hearted, it was a large portion, superbly cooked, we'd thoroughly recommend it. On top of that, Alfie is a very pleasant young man also Gemma was very attentive. The Hinds Head serves delicious home cooked food + a good selection of drinks.

Fantastic atmosphere. Plenty of seating with lovely quiet areas and a great conservatory and outdoor seating. Good menu and large selection of draught beers and lagers. They even have non alcoholic beers and lagers. Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

As a family, we have visited this pub over and over. Beautiful setting. Lovely beer garden. Food is superb and very reasonably priced. Excellent service. We really celebrated my mums 70th and held the gathering in the conservatory area. We ordered a cold buffet with extra hot food of chips, chicken satay, and pizza. They let us bring decorations and music and provided a cake stand. Staff couldn't do enough. Highly recommend. They also provide pub stop overs for campervans. Book in advance and stay overnight. Just eat in there the next day! It's highly useful when going out in Manchester as it's walking distance from the 192 bus route. We always return and are never disappointed ❀️

I visited The Hinds Head today for lunch with a large group of ladies. Always a great welcome from the staff. When we got settled most of us chose from the new menu which had some nice dishes to choose from. I decided on the black pudding & sausage with a light mustard sauce it was delicious, we all enjoyed our food...clean plates all around. Lovely atmosphere the staff go the extra mile. I would highly recommend. Irene Davies Thursday 29th January 2026.
