We went for a celebration family meal on Sunday and the carvery was delicious, a good selection of meat and veg, all piping hot. Our daughter was happy with her vegetarian choice too. Lovely staff and they allowed us to add balloons and bits to the table beforehand. It was very busy so quite loud but we could still talk. Maybe choose a different day if you want a quieter meal. Definitely a popular place and we'd have no hesitation to return.
My partner and a few friends go to the jolly every Thursday Evening. The good is always great as is the service. The quiz is really fun and it's free. We've been going for over 3 years and never disappointed. Also the carvery is a real.yreat every now and then . I would recommend the jolly for a great evening. The staff are so friendly
What a fantastic pub/restaurant. I've never been before a came for a friend's birthday meal. I arrived first and was quickly greeted and shown a table. I was given menus and asked for a drink. As more and more people arrived they were greeted with the same professionalism. We all ordered our food and it came to a very high standard. The chef is very talented and it was amazing. 5* all round and I'll be definitely be back
My favorite place to go for a carvery. Really tasty carvery. The Chinese pork is ridiculous. Big Yorkshire spuds, crispy roasties and lovely gravy! Great value for money
We booked the for new year there was 13 of us, and I have to thank the management and staff, we had one of the best nights that we can recall in 12 years, the staff were attentive, friendly and service was quick, the food was unbelievable good and top value, the dj music was just right and entertaining, we danced most of the night. The toilets were kept clean all evening, The staff kept clearing away glasses and plates, the dance floor was sufficient, the atmospheres were relaxed and friendly, the bar area was busy but we did not feel crowded. Management was attentive. Thankyou for a wonderful night top top place in the top 5 of places we highly recommend
