Second updated review: We visited last week to see if it was an improvement on last time as we received a 40% offer via email. I had the sizzler chicken plate and my partner had the big clucker burger. We arrived at 4pm on a weekday and 3 tables had reserved signs on for a time that was well over an hour away so we sat on one of those as we knew we’d be in and out. The food took 45 minutes. A long time to wait I think. A couple that came in after us only waited 15 mins for theirs. My chicken was so overcooked I couldn’t cut it! if I had paid full price I would have asked for a replacement but I didn’t want to wait any longer knowing we had to give up our table in 20 minutes. My partner said his chicken burger was also quite hard. Really disappointed. Also the broken toilet lock in the ladies has still not been fixed. So clearly it’s not as utmost priority as you said. Unfortunately will be avoiding in future. First review - Had 3 starters to share with my partner for a light lunch and I was surprised that the portions were quite small for the price. The cheeseburger spring rolls you only get 2 so 1 each, and the cheesy donuts you get 3 so only one of you gets 2. Doesn’t tell you the quantity on the menu so you don’t know what you get until it arrives. They are listed under the sharer section. We were hungry again an hour later. Also the ladies toilet door is broken, it doesn’t shut fully so you can’t lock the door. Only one toilet cubicle so it’s a bit awkward. Didn’t really interact with staff but they were nice when they brought over the food. Food was good though. We will come back, but probably for a main meal instead. Plenty of choice and deals on the food. Also, to note that the tables are very close together and not actually many tables available.

Lovely place. Our 'go to' pub to meet up with friends & family. I have never had a bad meal in here. Portions are huge & the staff are warm & welcoming. It is very clean & tables are cleared quickly when you have eaten. The new menu is good, something for everyone. Kung Pao Prawns may be my new favourite! Special shout out to Joe who manages in a calm, polite & efficient way. Looking forward to my next visit.

This place is lovely. We booked a table for 3 people. We arrived in good time and the welcome from the lady behind the bar was welcoming. She indicated to us where our table had been reserved. The only thing we didn’t like was our full name was on display on the table. I feel just a surname would have been sufficient. The food was lovely and served quickly. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed.
