Stayed in a hotel nearby so came here for a bite to eat before we went out. Menu was quite extensive but was out of stock of pretty much everything vegetarian so struggled to fine something for my friend. Food that we did get was nothing special but tasted nice and was value for money. The lady behind the bar was very nice and served with a smile. Its a big place with plenty of seating inside and 2 areas outside with seating, one area being in a garden. They have 2 big areas inside and show sports and possible a carvery as there was a counter for it. It also has plenty of parking with a fair size car park.
Came in today with my family for a carvery. Really enjoyed it! great selection of meat and plenty of options of veg, the cauliflower cheese was beaut. Would deffo recommend the gammon, I asked the chef for the crispy bits on the top and he was happy give me some. Staff were really helpful, great atmosphere. Beautiful fresh roast 10/10
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely fabulous! The food was outstanding — every dish was full of flavour and beautifully cooked, thank you Paul! We each thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful. Brad, who looked after us, was so friendly and genuinely lovely — his service really made our visit extra special. We felt welcomed from the moment we walked in; the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, and we left completely stuffed and happy! 100% recommend this place — we’ll definitely be back soon. Paul and Brad have only just taken over in the last few days, and they’re already doing an amazing job! Oh, and most importantly… it’s dog friendly! 🐾💖 Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Had my first Sunday carvery here today and I have to say I was totally blown away by how good quality the food was. Three choices of gravy, giant home made Yorkshire puddings and perfect mash potato. The staff were amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. Would definitely recommend
