I really like this place. Its the only decent place to relax at a weekend in Rotherham. Peaceful (unleas footballs on :)). Foods always been decent. Staffs friendly too, managers sort out any rare issue quickly too. Toilets are always spotless, big win for a pub! I travel a lot, only in Rotherham at weekends, and this is one of the best run spoons tbh.

It’s very well located near town centre The staff are friendly and efficient here Seatings are spread out on few levels as this is a very historical building We came to have a quick lunch and the food is freshly prepared and good value meals Very popular place with the locals 👍🏻🍺🍽️

I visited for breakfast and had a really lovely experience. The food was great and everything came out quickly and just as expected. What really stood out though was the service. Rebecca, the duty manager, was incredibly smiley, kind, and welcoming throughout. She even had a laugh with us, which made us feel right at home. We’ve been living in Cornwall for 20 years and had come back to the area for a funeral, and she really reminded us what it’s like to be around proper Yorkshire people who are able to have a good laugh while still being genuinely warm and lovely. It’s always nice to be served by someone who clearly cares about customers. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The Bluecoat is a decent Wetherspoon if you just want somewhere simple and relaxed to sit for a while. The building itself has a bit of character and there is usually a good amount of space, even when it is busy. Drinks and food are what you would expect, nothing fancy but good value for the price. Overall a solid spot in Rotherham if you want something easy and casual.

We love this place, the food is good and great value as are the drinks. Service is always good even when really busy with limited staff but once again we had to leave early as the place was freezing, no heating Everyone was sat in their coats and some with hats and all complaining. This pub is always cold so we know to dress in thick jumpers but even this didn’t help today. Come on Wetherspoons get this sorted for your loyal customers!
