This was a lovely pub to visit, with an old style aided by a massive light on the ceiling! The bar is well-presented with some flashy decorations, where friendly staff delivered service. I enjoyed a bottle of WKD Blue, situated comfortably on a clean table that suitably has placemats!

I have been going 8n this place since I rurn eighteen also with husband and friends this place has gone down hill they discriminate against single woman wh9 just want to go somewhere quiet to drink 8 did nothing 8n that place not a wrong word to anyone rushed to sever alcohol because either I alone and bar staff feel threaten by me for some reason or refused me on my ex husband words or they are discriminating me because I'v mental health issue that when nervous I suck my thumb and take my therapy Teddy with me when I'm nervous lizard the so called anger is soo unreasonable didn't even have the gutts to give reaso go8ng to license board then advertiser 8n rotherham I'm very good friends with the editor too so make a story for discrimination

Once upon a time a favourite of mine, now a very infrequent customer, instead i go next door to The County. Upon entering the Angel you've a good chance of being greeted by the foul smelling drains, the bar prices are now extortionate, it's pretty dead even Friday/Saturday night but can be busy.. ish afternoons with sport on the TVs especially racing. It's basically gone down, down, downhill year on year for the last half a dozen years and has lost favour with a lot of it's regulars. I still call in for the occasional drink but it's definitely lost it's mojo along with the option of "buy two, get one free" When going to all the other pubs which are ALL significantly cheaper and tbh have a lot more to offer their customers.
