Nice pub very close to Reading train station 🚆 Nice big bar with lots of beer choices including La Chouffe on draft 😀 I had Windsor Knot draft bitter which was very tasty. We did not eat but you can get delicious local pizza which I know is very good. Plenty of room so could be very busy. Nice big darts area 🎯 Friendly staff and service 👏 Toilets clean and tidy 😀 Some great rock music playing but not too loud 🎹🎼🎶 First time in this nice pub but not the last 😀🏴
Beautiful, proper pub with a great selection of beers. We were on a Reading all day pub crawl and really enjoyed the Greyfriar. I'd recommend!
Great pub, just down road from station. Great selection of real ale, gins and whiskies. Friendly, helpful staff. Popped in for a swift pint whilst waiting for bus. Very good as usual. Pub felt like it had the heating on whereas it was weeks of warm weather which had heated up brickwork. A fan on bar tried to cool things down.
Lovely place with a cozy atmosphere and fabulous music (jazz). 🎶 The staff members are very kind and friendly, and there are many unique beers to taste and drink! As it is near the train station, it is the perfect pub to drink your beer, before your trip! Ah, and it is also a great place to spend on your time with friends!
Good to see an Untappd verified venue and to be able to see the beer options in advance. Helpful staff, laid-back atmosphere and quite busy for early evening. Would recommend, well balanced selection of beer styles and some interesting options.
