Great drinkers pub with a wide range of real ales and bottles of continental beers.
Funny little pub that has a strong smell of wee! One of the regulars was friendly and chatty to us. I was showing my friend a short clip on my phone and literally played 5 seconds of it and got shouted at quite rudely by the man behind the bar. We then saw a phone sign saying phones must be on silent which we hadnt noticed before! Weird place. Even my male friend was shocked at his tone to us. The lady with dark hair behind the bar was very nice though.
Fantastic pub. Lots of pumps full of local real ale. Wall decked out in coasters. Cute little booths and some stained glass. Rock and metal music playing. Wonderful.
This place for legends. Not for faint hatred. The last time I was there, the count of different kind of Ales served till date was 10K+. People have permanent beer mugs here. If I could, I would prefer go here for most of the time and would have a beer mug on my name too.
It's a Classic British pub, staff are friendly and inviting, there's a wide selection of beers. The listed building is small so if it's busy seating may become scarce but its charm means you should still give it a try anyway.
