City-centre base in Hanley (opposite the Regent Theatre) that’s known as a gathering spot for Stoke City supporters, including the Norwegian branch. It has sports TV with TNT Sports for catching other fixtures pre/post-match, and it’s close to bus routes for onward travel on matchdays. Real-ale led and consistently busy with locals and matchgoers, it’s a reliable pre-game meeting point before heading to the bet365 Stadium.

Proper, traditional, small pub with a choice of very well kept ales & very well priced ( £4 for Landlord for example). The pub is very clean with friendly staff. They also do a brilliant service of being able to pre-order a drink for the interval at the nearby theatre (if you're watching a show), where you can return with your drink waiting for you at the bar with your name on it.

Excellent beer and friendly service. A great place to go for a pre theatre drink. The bar looks super clean and the polished copper/ brass is to be commended. All in all, it would be a great local pub.
