We did not eat here yesterday so unable to rate the food, just used it as a meeting place. Having coffees before setting off on a car rally. I did pop in a couple of days before to ask if this was ok and was greeted warmly. We were very welcome to do that. Far far better reaction compared with another nearby venue who insisted a table needed to be booked and number of people known despite us being gone well before the lunchtime trade . So yes will be back for more than a drink and recommend
The food was absolutely amazing. Very fresh and definitely very tasty. The wait was a little long, but it was absolutely worth it. The staff are friendly, the portions are pretty good, and the atmosphere is quite nice. My only complaint is that the toilets smell really bad. The ladies toilets were clean, though, so I don't know if the smell was mostly coming from the men's.
We spent 3 evenings here while visiting the Grand Prix. Everyone was so friendly and polite, it was a pleasure to dine here, thank you. Food was excellent, fine beer served. Would recommend to friends if they were up that way. Serves a great Sunday lunch.
Had chicken tikka platter. I’m pretty sure the onion bhaji could have been used as a cricket ball!! I suppose at least I knew it wasn’t undercooked!! The other two plates of food were ok.
We were seated quickly to our table despite it being busy. We were served by Alex and Leah who were friendly and brilliant at helping with any questions we had and any requests we made. The chefs Chris, Ellis and Natt made our food excellent - compliments to the chef. Our time here was overall brilliant and is recommended.
