📍 0.6 miles from Kenilworth Road
Club guides list The White House as accommodating visiting supporters, with Spurs noting it among the town-centre pubs for away fans and highlighting its close proximity to Kenilworth Road. Grimsby Town’s travel guide also recommends it to away followers and describes it as a big venue around a 15-minute walk from the ground. For matchdays, the pub opens early and serves food all day, and it has sports TV (terrestrial), TV screens and a projector—useful for catching other games. It’s in Luton town centre by the station, making it a straightforward base to meet, eat and head to the match.
I’ve visited the White House Wetherspoon a couple of times with my friends, and it’s always been a good experience. The place has a nice, relaxed vibe that’s perfect for catching up. We tried their pizza, some drinks, and chicken wings — everything was tasty and worth the price. The food came out quick, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, it’s a great spot for a casual hangout with good food and drinks. Definitely recommend!🍕🍹🍗
Massive Wetherspoons. Probably one of the biggest we have visited. Lovely building. Plenty of outside seating & the inside was huge with an upstairs for over 16s only which is a nice touch. Loved the library theme throughout the pub & really enjoyed our visit. Plate, bacon, mushrooms, beans, 2 x eggs, hash browns & tomatoes were all hot. Staff were very polite & helpful & would come back again if we were ever close to Luton again. Only one small negative was the men's toilets were hard to find tucked away behind the fruit machines. A couple of more signs would help. Thanks.
Good place to meet up with friend or family. I like the atmosphere as its chilled and cosy. Food is lovely and prices are really good. Very reasonable without breaking the bank. There is parking, although the library car park which is close by, is always busy. There are others nearby and payment is reasonable.
A nice large building. Food is so-so. Staff never seem to clear the tables - always laden with plates. They also allow some customers to spend all their time shouting into phones or having music and video on very loudly. This spoils the experience for others but staff are indifferent/oblivious. The whole experience is dispiriting. It needs a quiet area and staff to turf noisy/anti-social customers outside.
It’s probably one of the best pub in Luton central. When you download the Whetherspoon application it gets much easier.. you just order with your table number and the team handles the rest for you. Audience and the environment pretty fine.. what can be expected from Luton central tho. The pub kinda preserves its own quality and hence you’d enjoy it smoothly.. Not a best place for a first date but why not for second date 😁.. I like this place anyway
