📍 0.8 miles from Kenilworth Road
On High Town Road (LU2 0DD), The Bricklayers Arms is a short walk from Luton station—about two minutes via the High Town entrance—so it’s handy for rail-travelling fans. It shows Sky Sports and TNT Sports, meaning you can catch early or late kick-offs around a game at Kenilworth Road. The pub is real-ale focused, with seven handpumps regularly rotating beers, and it expands its outdoor space on Hatters match days to handle the crowds. It’s listed among pubs that welcome away supporters, though some fixtures have been designated home-only, so check the status for your matchday.
Great looking proper pub. Serves a variety of of beers. Plenty of space with some interesting spaces at the back. Has a beer garden. Good prices and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit at any time, one of the best pubs in Luton in my opinion.
Came out of station and thought let me try any Luton pub because hardly i have tried. Found it on google this one near with good reviews. Very chill & calm atmosphere. Really local pub for local people. Nice craft ales kept very well. Good service and there was a piano in a corner.
Two visits in recent weeks. First chanced upon a karaoke night and had a great time for a few hours. Second a planned day out from Dartford for their spring beer festival. Nice beer festival held in their back garden, nice choice of beers. Lovely friendly staff, not too expensive. Very community focused. LGBTQ+ friendly. In my opinion best real ale pub in Luton. Location - High Town, 2 mins or less walk from the train station. Also worth a visit (for historic interior only - no real ale) The Painters Arms just up the road.
This pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The interior is cozy and well maintained. There is a good variety of beers and other drinks to choose from. The staff are friendly and provide quick service. Food options are tasty and well prepared. The pub is clean and not overcrowded. It’s a great place to relax after a long day.
Amazing place! We ended up here randomly and it quickly became one of the best places we visited in the UK. Extremely welcoming, cheerful and friendly people, very interesting interior decorations. Rustic and casual. On Mondays there’s a Quiz night that we enjoyed a lot. I really hope to come back!
