A modern great barn of a pub close to a rather fine church in Stratford. The Sportsman, as the name suggests, carers for just about any sport you can think of. The place is littered with big screens showing at least three different sports on my visit. There is an excellent range of beers, lagers, ciders and cask ales on offered, all competitively priced. Mine was also fresh and cold, excellent! Loads of room however big your group. Great service. All good for a sport fest. There are a couple of pool tables too should you feel urged to indulge.

Had a fantastic experience at The Sportsman Bar in Stratford. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was lively and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy the evening. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout. The venue itself is clean, well-organised, and perfect for watching live sport, with great screens and a buzzing crowd that really adds to the experience. Drinks were well priced and served quickly, and the overall vibe was energetic without feeling overcrowded. A brilliant spot for a night out with friends or to catch a game. Highly recommended — I’ll definitely be returning.
Lovely environment to watch football, F1 etc, highly recommend. Hard working staff, always clean and welcoming, good food, fairly priced drinks, so many screens! Best in Stratford by a good mile
Lovely sports bar with great food and drinks. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was excellent. Sam, the bar manager, was especially helpful and kept everything running smoothly, providing quick and friendly service at the bar. Highly recommended for a good meal, drinks, and a great place to watch sports 💕
