The King's Head is a real ale pub located within Huddersfield's Grade I listed railway station, making it a convenient stop for both home and away supporters traveling by train. It offers a selection of up to ten real ales and ciders, including local favorites like Magic Rock Ringmaster and Timothy Taylor Landlord. While it has been known to house both sets of fans due to its location, some sources suggest it may cater more to home fans on certain matchdays. The pub serves hot food on matchdays, providing a welcoming atmosphere for fans. Additionally, its proximity to the station allows for easy access before and after matches.
Visited midday on a Thursday. Very quiet with few customers but great beers. Theakstons landlord. Mmmmm Before we left we saw the pies being delivered. Couple of hours later we returned for the beer which had been our favourite of the day. The bar was filling up with friendly locals and we noticed information boards displaying future events, northern soul and such like. They say its bouncing in here some days and zi can well believe it. Prices were good. I must confess I ordered a cold pork pie and two packs of peanuts £4.50 It's on the right hand side of the train station, pub sign holds image of Jimi Hendrix. Cleanest Toilets you have ever seen

Part of the Huddersfield railway station. One large room and one side room. Beers from various breweries. Long Moor Pale (Small World) and Irish Sea stout (Bosun) were tried . Both very palatable. Food available if required. Bar towels hung out to dry on arrival in the beautiful weather.
Great building. Nice and clean. Friendly staff and a good selection of drinks.
Superb pub located on Huddersfield train station. A vast range of Real Ales and Craft Beers, something for everyone.
