Beautiful pub on the river Exe. Lovely old building. Set right on the river. The garden has lots of tables and chairs over looking the river. Great ales on the pumps. Lots of choices of cider and lagers. And a really lovely and interning menu. Highly recommended
Lovely time at the Mill on the Exe today. Great food and value for money. Special mention to our server Lee, lovely chap, had a way of making us feel we were the only guests there!! Polite and not pushy, deserves a mention by name. We will be back , thank you.
Was here for a meal with colleagues. Really tasty food. I had the Beef, Shin & Tribute Pie that was a good low calorie option. Never established if the Cals included the mash, veg and gravy, but enjoyed it. Also had a lovely Affogato. Good service and friendly staff. I particularly appreciated there being low alcohol beer (proper job) on tap. Would come here again :)
Really excellent, very easy to find and park and in a lovely position overlooking the River Exe. Well kept building inside and out and the food was really good, tasty and quickly delivered. We met for Breakfast and had the pancakes and maple syrup (highly recommend, you should try them) and certainly a good portion with plenty of bacon. We will certainly be visiting again!
A marvellous hotel with a good pub attached. Well located. Adequate free parking, good sized rooms with smart tv and comfortable bed. Pleasant atmospheric pub attached. Sadly, they had just experienced flooding in the kitchen, so we were only able to sample lunch on the arrival day, which was excellent. However, there are great restaurants nearby on the quayside. They were also only able to serve continental breakfast during our stay, but due to the problems, this was complimentary which was a lovely bonus and we had booked room only, planning to buy breakfast only for our departure day. Anyone can have unexpected problems; it is how they are resolved that says so much. This hotel went over and above to do whatever they could in the circumstances and consequently, I would never think of going anywhere else in Exeter from now on. Well done
