We originally booked for the Sunday but due to our son being ill we changed our booking by to the Friday afternoon with no issues which was amazing! We arrived and the lady that assisted us was absolutely amazing (I’m so sorry I don’t catch her name!) she was enthusiastic and really lovely and made our experience even better. We had booked for axe throwing and it was so much fun even though I didn’t quite get the hang of it! We were then asked if we wanted to use our last half hour on the darts which we said yes to! It’s absolutely incredible to see what they have done with the space as my other half and I visited the crossing a few times (it’s actually where we met!) Overall an absolutely amazing experience and would love to come back soon!
Out the back of the pub is a lovely garden perfect for the summer. Enjoyed many salads out here with friends after the gym. Also been here for leaving parties. It's a great venue and good value drinks. Nice atmosphere and good menu of food. Also good location right near the main car park.
We booked the Axe throwing for 60 minutes and Josh, the host was great. There were 5 of us and managed to get through three different games. The facility looks great and was well priced. My only observations of where they could improve were:- During the activity no one came and asked if we wanted more drinks ordering, I also think that 10 minutes from the end of the activity someone should come and ask if we wanted food arranging, to keep us in the bar for longer. Instead we went into town for a curry. All in all, a great venue for some activity based fun.
Nicely decorated place, long and narrow bar with a nice beer patio at the rear of the premises. Usual tap beers and a few real ales available. Staff were friendly and polite. Beer was great. Enjoyed my visit.
We love this place. It looks great inside and out. Someone may think that the cleanliness is not perfect like everyone else's home😉 ....... But the customer attitude is not likely to leave you indifferent. Super friendly staff, they always try to do their best to keep you happy here. Among the pizzas I probably like the Catalana the best, also the red fish wrap is delicious . The kid loves (sweet potato) fries. And how to do without ice cream 😂. It's nice that many of the dishes can be ordered with a gluten free option. Waiting for warm weather to sit in the cozy courtyard.
