Excellent location. And, as a football fan on a day trip from Exeter. Devon, about 280 miles coach journey one way, it was poignant to see the memorial to the Bradford City fire disaster, right opposite in Centenary Square. The Christmas Dinner, £15.52 including a pint, was a major disappointment, however. I prefer Wetherspoons pubs which are in a restored historic building.
Lovely place with a great atmosphere. The mirror at The Turls Green - JD Wetherspoon really stands out, such a unique and stylish touch that adds character to the space. Definitely worth a visit
A nice pub with plenty of seating inside and a patio area with seating outside. The pub wasn't too busy. There is a huge choice of food to suit everyone. I had the Katsu curry with coconut rice. It was delicious. I could have eaten it twice. My sister had chicken strips. Which I believe she has in every Wetherspoons she goes to. The prices are ridiculously cheap compared to other pubs. Very impressed. The Alambra theatre is two minutes away if you want to have something to eat or drink before the show that won't break the bank.
really good pub, its a shame the blonde girl with the orange lanyard working is repeatedly rude to people, she accused me and my friends of lying about who we were with, she profiled my friend when he entered telling him not to sit with a certain group people when we weren’t even with that party originally. we tried multiple times to explain the situation but she was very rude, dismissing and talking over me and talking behind my back when i kindly explained that even if we were in the wrong she shouldnt speak to people with the attitude that she did. this isnt the first time she has been rude to us and i seriously think she needs talking to. dont come unless you want someone being rude over a simple misunderstanding. rlly rlly poor customer service. i even tried to explain to somebody else and they were laughing in my face. i seriously cant believe it. we might be young but it doesnt mean we deserve less respect that anybody else coming here, right from the get go she was so unnecessarily rude
My experience at The Turls Green - JD Wetherspoon was truly exceptional! 💯 The food was delicious, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend it! ✨🍽️😊
