Traditional pub in a characterful old building, with a wide choice of drinks and a good value menu. Very busy before a gig nearby but there was still enough space inside to find a corner. We dropped in for a quick bite before the show. Bar and kitchen service was quick despite the crowd. Food arrived hot in under 20 minutes, which felt fair given the pre-gig rush. Cheeseburger with bacon and fries, tasty and filling; I smothered it in sauces from the well-stocked selection by the bar. Screens showing the football. First games machines I’ve seen in a while. Mixed lively crowd but still comfortable. Staff worked hard to keep things moving. Handy city centre stop. Something for everyone. Liked it.
A cracking pub situated in Bradford city centre. A good selection of ales, a great menu and friendly staff. The holy trinity - what more could I want from a pub?
My self and my husband booked a table for last night. We arrived to find someone had taken out reserved table but the young lady soon found us a new one and couldn’t apologise enough. I ordered our food and it only took about 15 minutes to arrive which was good as it was quite busy. The food was lovely, very good portions as well. The staff here are so nice and friendly. We do come here often and it’s always nice. I would definitely recommend here for a bite to eat.
Excellent spacious pub with good selection of drinks (including beer and cider 🍺) on tab. There are plenty of tables on 2 levels, including outside tables if the weather is agreeable. The pub food is tasty, include some Yorkshier specialites.
The food was delicious. Great atmosphere as City had won their game 🤣. One of the best city centre pubs
