Great View on the pitch but service deserves 0 stars. Telling us that tables are reserved where they weren't, couldn't order food because of a match fay buffet but other guests got food...
I can't shout about the food, the service and how nice it is to stay at the Blackpool FC Hotel and dine at The Corner Flag. Chefs Phil, Ryan and Presard are amazing! Jake, Sara, Keri, Phil, Daniel, Jack and beautiful Crystal are fab bar staff. Breakfast is a must at this hotel! Tracey at front of house is a superstar. Thank you Blackpool FC Hotel all managed by Chloe ! Gemma stayed in Sept, Oct and Nov 25....
Well... How did we get in? I think the hotel bar is only key card only and only open to patrons...we met a guy on the way in and followed. Fantastic bar with amazing views of the pitch. We had Heineken at £4.50 per pint. The staff were very friendly. Special mention for the toilets they were great.
Dane did a great job on the bar, great hospitality service, we had a nice meal (recommend the wings and upgrading the steak like we did) thanks again Dane! 🎢👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
This place is only really worth going if you like the Blackpool team or maybe football in general. As a stand alone restaurant it's pretty poor based off other restaurants I've been too. The menu is very basic and not much choice, the majority of it you'd probably see on a cafe menu. The burger was the worst burger I've ever had it had fat in it and didn't seem like great quality meat which is surprising considering the price of it. It was also slightly undercooked and just unpleasant. We had the fish, the gammon, the chicken breast, and a steak (see what I mean by basic) the fish was okay but again over priced. The chicken again nothing to write about and the steak you can't really mess a steak up but for the price (£26) you'd be better off going to a Millar and carter. The service was also pretty slow considering it wasn't that busy. They didn't really pay us much attention either and to top it off we had dirty cutlery on our table. Overall overpriced basic food wouldn't recommend unless you're going for the location.
