Why is The World Famous Arkles good for fans?
Arkles is the designated away-fans pub for visitors to Anfield and gets very busy on matchdays, so arriving early is advised. It’s only about a five-minute walk from the stadium, making it a convenient pre- and post-match meeting point. The pub shows live football on Sky Sports and TNT Sports on big screens, creating a strong matchday atmosphere for those without tickets or wanting to catch other games before/after the fixture.

Brilliant venue for a Friday quiz, and to experience the football atmosphere on match days.
Good selection of drinks, and always plenty of staff working, so queuing is never an issue.
Whilst they don’t serve food, they welcome bringing your own, or buying it from the local Fish & Chip shop 2 doors away :-)

Called in for a few beers before the West Ham game. Fantastic atmosphere with both sets of fans mixing. Very quick service at the bar good pint of Gunness. Would recommend the bar to away fans.

Good place on match days, got a decent beer garden out back although sun doesn't always hit. Good choice of drinks. Very quiet most days of the week but vibrant on weekends an Friday's. Also has two dartboards

This pub is a very short distance from Anfield football ground, home to the legendary Liverpool football club. The atmosphere on match day is obviously excellent, as it is packed full of fans in high spirits, especially with the very positive results the local team has been enjoying. This club is actually a global enterprise, inspiring football fans all around the world, and generating a loyal global fan base in the process. Testimony to this is the huge range of football supporter club scarves adorned on the walls behind the bar. Most games, you will find a small group of international supporters in Arkles, in some cases having made a huge journey to catch a glimpse of their heroes and savour the iconic Anfield atmosphere. A very good spot pre and post match to get in the mood and keep the vibe going. Enjoy. Can also bring takeaway from next door.

Great pub pre Bruce Springsteen
Paul the barman was the best and fastest I've seen out of Spain!! He wants a medal and a pay rise for the amount of people he served on his own!!

Didn't have food or see anyone with food. Do they do food?? I can see it being a bit of fun on a match day. We went for a concert and the buzz was good. Staff just about kept up with demand but yes it is a pub next to a football stadium so don't go there expecting black ties and toffs you will be disappointed. But nice place a clean as it needed to be toilets were clean and in good condition. Door staff very friendly to and were happy to help you.

Good pub, friendly staff. They don't do food but you can bring in food from the great fish and chip shop next door. Not that adventurous with what's on tap or in the fridge (a weissbier would be a welcome option), but a good place all the same. Grand.
Edit: Strange response from the pub to my review after leaving a very positive review. I hope it's a typo.

Having read all the glowing reviews I thought I’d add an informed genuine one from experience for balance. Superficially this place is OK. Some of the staff are very friendly and are a credit to the place but they’re let down by the gloomy ones. The manager is preoccupied with flirting with young women, gambling on the fruit machines and playing darts with his clique; also definitely turns a blind eye to the copious drug use going on. In a nutshell, this is an overpriced match day/tourist boozer. It is, perhaps, worth a visit to look at the LFC paraphernalia or to try the quiz but that’s about it. Most definitely avoid it during LFC home games as the door-staff won’t let you in once the game kicks off, that is unless you give them money for “charity
