The Woodlands Hotel

Why is The Woodlands Hotel good for fans?

The Woodlands is regularly recommended to visiting supporters for Harrogate Town matches and is less than a 10-minute walk from the ground on Wetherby Road, making it a convenient pre- or post-match stop. The pub shows live sport (including Sky Sports and TNT Sports), so it’s suitable for catching early/late kick-offs around your game. It also serves a full food menu with set kitchen hours, useful for a hot meal before heading to the turnstiles. Cask ale drinkers can expect named regulars like Theakston Best Bitter and Timothy Taylor Landlord. Overall, it’s a practical, away-friendly base close to the stadium with sport on TV and food available on matchdays.

Came here as a child often and didn't come for about 8-10 years up until a family meal in March and then again in October. Lovely, proper food! Piping hot, brilliant portion sizes, and decently priced! Deffo gives me more middle aged - old people vibes by the interior and staff, but still a lovely place for a decent meal out :)

Stayed here in our campervan overnight. Some traffic noise. Friendly reception. Not a huge carpark but no problem parking, slight slope. Large menu, good variety, good portions and tasty! Will be very happy to recommend and return! Thank you to manager and friendly regulars at adjacent table.🤗

Food is okay, took 40 minutes for a starter and then a friend was given his main meal at the same time. The rest of the group waited another 20 minutes. He had finished eating when we got out meals. Edit, recent visit since. We missed food by seconds but enjoyed drinks and nibbles. Lovely staff, not as busy this time. Thank you

Dined here a few times since it has been refurbished and everyone has enjoyed their food. As other's have stated, the chicken is well done, but just how we like it. Prices are competitive and was freshly cooked. The waiting time was average, but the pub was not over busy. All in all, we've had some lovely food here and we would definitely dine here again.

Really enjoyed the Sunday Lunch, both Chicken and Beef was good. Others had various other options and all plates went back cleared. Good value for money and service as wine and drinks are not overpriced either. Would definitely go back if we’re in the area again, staff were more than helpful 🙏🏻
