The best pub for miles. Clare and the team offer excellent service, the food is just what you are looking for in a pub, and the range of ales is perfect. Dogs are welcome, and the regulars are friendly. If you looking for somewhere with decent food, ale, good conversation, and great staff then go here. If you don't want any of that then try one of the faceless brewery chains elsewhere.

Most welcoming pub ever! We booked our campervan in overnight and Claire couldn't do enough for us. No charge although as per Brit Stop we treated ourselves to dinner. The Wheel is a proper Ale pub that prides itself on a vast array over of ales. Plenty to choose from. Local atmosphere was lovely. We arrived on a quieter weekend. Call to check in a van overnight. Dogs especially welcome and Luna had fun with a super walk in fields opposite before we left in the morning. Will be our regular south trip Stop off from now on! Thanks again Claire!

We've lived in the village for more than four years now, this is the best pub around, and for me, the best I've had the good fortune to be a local at. Not only are locals well looked after, visitors are welcomed with open arms, especially dogs 😁😁 who get extra special attention. Food wise, I'm dairy free, my husband is gluten free, we're always well looked after with plenty of choice and feel in very safe hands. Any friends or family we bring love it and wish it were their local!

A great pub for a quick pint and a bite to eat. I called in on a sunny evening to find plenty of parking space and a large garden area with plenty of seating. It's a dog friendly establishment, and I was greeted by 3 friendly chocolate coloured labradors. The locals were also very friendly and returned my hello guys. I didn't stop long but enjoyed my pint of larger and bowl of chips. I will call in again when passing. I took photo of the blackboard (!!!?).

I've been visiting The Wheel most Wednesdays since I moved to Naphill in 2023. Love the team there. Food always satisfying pub grub with some good specials. Decent choice of beers. Decorated in curiosities. Friendly dogs. Superb events. Good garden.

Local community pub. Lovely outdoor seating area, great food and allowed me to park overnight. Britstop location just north of M40 and High Wycombe in the Chilterns. Perfect for an unplanned overnight with a pint or 2 of cider for good measure.

Super little pub. Very dog friendly. Lots of character and a traditional English country pub.

£6 for 2 pints of lime & soda is ridiculous !! It’s not exactly the Ritz … Although the Ritz is a lot more friendly, cleaner. And the staff helpful and les pedantic. Unfortunately you can see why Pubs are closing…… Avoid the Wheel at all cost 👍🏽
