The Vine

Why is The Vine good for fans?

The Vine is a small, town-centre pub with an authentic Thai kitchen—handy for a proper pre-match meal and pints before heading out. Its High Street location places it among Cheltenham’s central pubs, and club guidance notes that town-centre pubs are around a 15-minute walk from Cheltenham Town’s ground, making it a practical staging point on matchdays. WhatPub also indicates the pub rotates quality beers from breweries like Arbor and Bristol Beer Factory, so you can expect interesting pints alongside the Thai menu.

Incredible Thai food. For the price the quality is even more impressive. Everyone is super friendly and lots of drinks options. Such a gem

Cozy place to eat, staff very friendly and food super yummy Thai food, I’m really looking forward to go back. Had the Basil and chilli chicken which was delicious, friend had a gf/vg dish and we share a vegetarian platter as a tarter. Very recommended

We met with friends at the Vine with the idea of eating there. However, as a couple of our group have very conservative tastes, we decided against it, hence no stars for food. However, I have to say their menu looked great. Three stars for the atmosphere again was only because there was virtually nobody in there. I sure later in the day would have been better. A definite 5 star for the lone bar staff, who was so warm and welcoming we felt it was a shame to leave her. I'd sum up the Vine as quirky but nice.

Popped in for a mid week early dinner and it filled quickly for a wednesday night. Great food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. I asked for no rice with my duck because I'd ordered chips.

Highly recommend! We went as a table of four for my birthday meal, the atmosphere was lovely and The Vine in general was great to be in with a summer breeze coming in through the open windows. We had the normal & veggie platters to split as starters, which were amazing with a great selection on offer! The Massaman curry as a main took me back to memories of Thailand - so delicious Loved that you go up and order at the bar - there was also a really good selection of drinks on offer, 100% recommend 🙏🏼

A step back in time to a fantastic pub with candles on the table. Ambience galore. Didn’t eat there but have plans to in the near future. Update: Went back to try the food, but didn't get to eat. The place was empty apart from two regulars and freezing cold. The room temperature matched the frosty and passive aggressive reception from the barmaid. Shame. Final Update: Went on a warm summers night and it was like being in a sauna. The landlord was sullen and unwelcoming, (common theme here). Then two extremely drunk men came in, sat at the bar and started shouting and singing some football songs. Eventhough they were very, very drunk, the landlord continued serving them We left immediately. This place lacks idenity and has a weak management.

Super nice. Quick. Order at bar. Cheaper than e.g. Wagamama. Really tasty food. Loads of options due to choosing any protein with most dishes. Also means most things are veggie option. 4 of us had sweet and sour stir-fry chicken, green curry chicken, pad Thai duck, spring rolls, satay, egg fried rice. Lovely. Nice drinks. 5 stars. Would eat again.

Absolutely brilliant Thai restaurant situated in an old pub with lots of original features retained. Food was absolutely fantastic quality and a fair price. Great range of craft ales too. Staff all very friendly and the service was great.
