The best pub in Liverpool,the staff is the best, super nice and friendly, made you feel super welcomed, and the Guinness was great. I am definitely coming back to stay at this pubs hotel and the atmosphere on match days is amazing. 10/10. Lovely people and amazing pub!

Myself and my partner visited here the day before the Liverpool and Manchester United game to get a feel for the atmosphere, we were greeted by a friendly bar man named Phil who couldn’t have been nicer and couldn’t have helped us out anymore . We couldn’t have met a nicer bloke , we also met some other bar staff and some of the locals and had great crack with them too. A fantastic pub with a great atmosphere would highly recommend to anyone going to a match . In future when we come back over , we’ll be going to this pub . We also visited some other of the fans pubs in the area but found this one to have the best atmosphere and most friendly staff .

100% recommend. Very friendly & helpfull in here. Even sorted out taxi ride to the airport for us as we sere pushed for time after a match. Great atmosphere & great quality drink.

I booked the room for me and my son as we watched the Liverpool vs Real Madrid game at Anfield. This lovely place was just a stone throw away from the stadium which made life so much easier, especially if we wanted to chill out for a bit after all the walking or to just drop our bags off whilst we did the stadium tour. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were clean and tidy, we both had a great nights sleep. We will 100% be coming back as this place really made the whole experience. I will also recommend to any friends or family. Thank you.

I am greek PAOK fan and i had great time in this pub with Liverpool fans , the lady in the bar is polite, the romanian guy the best and all the people in there was great PAOK LE OLE OLE OLE

Called in on our first night in liverpool with my partner and son, we were served by an absolutely lovely woman named Sue. We returned later for a while and after realising I'd lost my bag with our hotel key Sue went out of her way help us, Sue and bonny let us stay in one of their empty rooms and checked in with us to make sure we were okay even after getting back to our hotel and to belfast. We returned the day after to pay for the room and they wouldn't have it. Seriously can't thank them enough for everything they done!

Visited over a year and forgot to say thank you. Only thought about it now as I am planning another trip to my Liverpool. Great atmosphere, great value. However they only accepted cash on match day and I only had a fiver and didn't want to miss out on the game. Landlord took pity on me and bought the next round and gave me valuable tips on tickets etc. All the staff and customers were very welcoming, ambassadors of LFC! Any tips for the Man U game on the 1st September as I am planning to see what is like to support from Manchester!
